INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC INTERNSHIP – A FUTURE-ORIENTED HORIZON OF PURPOSE

From May 2 to 13, scientists from Shakarim University – N.B. Burambayeva, K.Kh. Nurzhanova, K.R. Satieva, A.M. Nusupov, and T.K. Kazhibekova – completed a scientific internship at the Northwest A&F University located in Yangling District, Xi’an City, People's Republic of China.

 

 

The internship focused on bioinformatics, genetic engineering, and genome sequencing in sheep breeding. This visit was carried out within the framework of the targeted program funding project of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan – BR24992940, titled “Development of effective selection methods and implementation of resource-saving technologies for creating highly productive sheep populations in the northeastern regions of Kazakhstan.”

 

 

The Dean of the College of Animal Science, Professor Jiang Yu, and Associate Professor ZhongLiang Jiang warmly welcomed the Kazakh researchers and developed an internship program that integrated theoretical knowledge with practical science. The scientists not only exchanged experiences but also mastered modern methodologies and explored new directions in science and education.

 

 

This internship marks a significant step forward for the development of agricultural science in Kazakhstan. It has further strengthened the partnership between Shakarim University and Northwest A&F University, opening new avenues for future scientific and innovative collaboration.
